Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- cooked rice - 2 c
- cinnamon or nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- raisins or cut up dates - 1/2 c
How to make rice pudding:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix ingredients in 2-quart bowl. Pour mixture into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Set dish in a shallow pan, holding 1-inch of hot water. Bake 45 minutes, or until pudding is firm at edges. Serve warm or cold. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Rice.
