Rice pilaf
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 tsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- long grain rice - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- orzo - 1/2 c
How to make rice pilaf:
Brown orzo until golden in butter, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes. Add rice and chicken broth. Cover pilaf; simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let rest before serving. To make chicken broth, dissolve 2 chicken bouillon cubes in 2 cups water.Recipe categories: Side dish, Rice, Long Grain rice.
