Rhubarb jam
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 c
- boxes strawberry Jell-O - 2 oz
- crushed pineapple, drained - 1 c
- water or pineapple juice - 1 c
- rhubarb, cut into 1-inch pieces - 5 c
How to make rhubarb jam:
Combine rhubarb, sugar and water or juice. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes. Add pineapple and bring to a boil again. Cook 10 minutes more. Remove from heat and quickly stir in Jell-O. Put in jars and seal. Makes 4 to 6 pints.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Spreads, Jams and preserves.
