Rhubarb cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- water - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- hot water - 1 c
- oleo - 1/2 c
- diced rhubarb - 4 c
- Pet milk - 3/4 c
How to make rhubarb cobbler:
Add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup hot water until dissolved, then add rhubarb; set aside.Batter: Cream oleo with other 1 cup sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour batter into a 9 x 12-inch pan. Top by spooning rhubarb and water mixture on top of batter. Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
