  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • water - 1/4 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • hot water - 1 c
  • oleo - 1/2 c
  • diced rhubarb - 4 c
  • Pet milk - 3/4 c

How to make rhubarb cobbler:

Add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup hot water until dissolved, then add rhubarb; set aside.

Batter: Cream oleo with other 1 cup sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour batter into a 9 x 12-inch pan. Top by spooning rhubarb and water mixture on top of batter. Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
