Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
How to make rhubarb cake:
Grease 9 x 9-inch pan. Combine 2 tablespoons butter, 1 cup flour, baking powder, salt, 1/3 cup sugar, egg and milk. Spread mixture in pan. Put on 2 good rows (layers) of rhubarb (1-inch long cubes). Over rhubarb, sprinkle 1 box strawberry jello. Mix 1/2 cup flour, 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup melted butter. Crumb this on top of jello-ed rhubarb.
