  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • melted butter
  • egg - 1 item

How to make crumb cake:

Topping:4 Tbsp. melted butter1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. cinnamon Topping: Mix together to form crumbs.

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. With pastry blender, cut in the butter. In measuring cup, mix together milk and vanilla. Beat in egg. Mix with dry ingredients (using fork just until blended). Pour into a greased and floured 8 x 8 x 2-inch square pan. Sprinkle crumb topping over top. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes.
