Refrigerator bran muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- baking soda - 5 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- box Raisin Bran cereal - 1 oz
How to make refrigerator bran muffins:
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl and make a well in center. Add eggs, milk and shortening. Stir just enough to moisten the dry ingredients. Cover and store in refrigerator until ready to bake. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from tins.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
