- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- cocoa - 1 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- plain flour
- red food coloring - 1 oz
- Wesson oil
- Add cocoa and food coloring
How to make red velvet cake:
Cream oil, sugar and eggs. Add cocoa and food coloring. Add salt, flour, buttermilk and vanilla. Alternately add soda and vinegar. Blend; do not beat hard.
