Chocolate pound cake

Ingredients/Components

• butter - 1/2 lb
• shortening - 1/2 c
• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 5 item
• plain flour - 3 c
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• cocoa - 4 Tbsp
• milk - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• Icing:1 stick oleo
• box confectioners sugar - 1 lb

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Icing:1 stick oleo3 tsp. cocoa2 Tbsp. milk1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients together; add with milk. Start with flour and end with flour. Cook in a tube pan at 300° for 2 hours. Spread with icing while still warm.

Icing: Melt butter; mix all ingredients and beat well.
