Ingredients/Components
- box yellow cake mix use milk instead of water - 1 item
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- red food coloring - 1 oz
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- Frosting:1 box confectioners sugar
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
How to make red velvet cake:
Frosting:1 box confectioners sugar8 oz. cream cheese, softened1 tsp. vanilla1 c. nuts, chopped1/2 c. butter, softened Cake: Preheat oven to 350°. Mix ingredients thoroughly. Pour into pan (greased). Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool.Frosting: In a small bowl, mix all ingredients thoroughly. Spread over cool cake.
