Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 c
- crushed red pepper - 1 tsp
- garlic clove, chopped - 1 item
- "no salt" - 1 tsp
- beans, washed and drained - 1 c
- lean white bacon or ham bone - 1 item
How to make red beans and rice:
Soak beans overnight. Cook rice and set aside. Drain off old water from beans and add fresh water. Add meat and cook until beans are tender. Add seasoning and serve over rice.Recipe categories: Pork, Beans, Rice.
