Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sifted flour - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- raw diced apples - 2 c
How to make raw apple cake:
Sauce:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. white sugar2 Tbsp. flour1 c. water1/4 c. butter1 tsp. vanilla Put apples and sugar together; let stand until sugar dissolves. Add egg; beat. Add dry ingredients; stir into apples. Add nuts and raisins. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 35 minutes at 350°. While cake is baking, make sauce.Sauce: Mix the first 4 ingredients; cook until thick, then add the butter and vanilla. Pour over cake; sprinkle with chopped nuts.
