Raspberry brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- unsweetened chocolate, melted - 2 sq
- margarine - 1/2 c
- raspberry jam - 1/4 c
How to make raspberry brownies:
Melt chocolate. Cream margarine, eggs and sugar, then add chocolate. Stir in flour and walnuts. Pour into greased 8 x 8-inch pan. Drop jam by teaspoonfuls over surface of batter. Swirl with fork to mix into batter. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.For heart-healthy brownies: Substitute 1/2 cup cooking oil for margarine. Use 6 tablespoons cocoa to replace chocolate. Sift unsweetened cocoa in with flour. Beat eggs, oil and sugar until light-colored and thick. Add flour; mix in nuts, etc.
