Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- raisins - 1 c
- brown sugar
- hot water - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make raisin puffs:
Sauce:2 c. brown sugar2 c. hot water2 Tbsp. butter2 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. vanilla Puffs: Mix all ingredients together. Pour into 5 to 6 buttered custard cups and place in pan of hot water. Steam in oven at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes. (Puffs are done when a toothpick inserted comes out clean.) Remove from cups and place in a sauce dish. Pour sauce mixture over puffs.Sauce: Combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and pour over puffs.
