Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- water - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- nuts - 1/2 c
- soft shortening - 3/4 c
- dry milk - 1/3 c
How to make chocolate drop cookies:
Mix in a 2-quart bowl the shortening, water and egg. Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, dry milk, soda and salt. Add to first mixture and mix well. Stir in nuts. Drop about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake near center of oven about 10 minutes or until springs back. Cool and frost with 1 tablespoon of frosting for each cookie.
