Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- raisins - 1 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
How to make raisin pie:
Cook raisins in water until tender, then mix sugar, cornstarch, milk and egg yolks. Add to the cooled raisins. Cook until thick. Add 2 tablespoons margarine. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue; brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
