Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- raisins - 2 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
How to make raisin pie:
Boil raisins in 1 3/4 cups water for 5 minutes. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt. Moisten with 1/4 cup water and add to raisins, stirring until mixture boils. Remove from fire. Add butter and vinegar. Pour into pastry lined pie panRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
