Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- cucumbers - 2 item
How to make quick pickles:
Cut cucumbers into spears. Place them in a quart jar. Add mustard and celery seeds and onion. Bring water to a boil in a small pan. Add sugar and vinegar and pour into the jar. Let stand 4 to 6 hours before refrigerating. Cover. Serve cold.Recipe categories: Vegetables, > 1 day, Canning.
