Quick chicken cacciatore
Ingredients/Components
- boneless chicken breasts, salt and peppered - 4 item
- flour - 1 item
- olive oil - 4 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
- jar of pasta sauce - 1 item
- small green pepper, cut in strips - 1 item
- slices Provolone cheese, cut in half - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped parsley - 1 item
How to make quick chicken cacciatore:
Coat chicken with flour. In large skillet, brown chicken and garlic in 3 tablespoons oil. Remove chicken from pan. Add pasta sauce, then chicken; stir. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes, adding peppers during last 5 minutes. Uncover; top each chicken breast with half cheese slice. Toss hot cooked macaroni with last tablespoon oil and parsley.
