Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- heavy cream - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- slices bacon - 6 item
- small chopped onion - 1 item
- garlic to taste - 1 item
- pie crust do not bake ahead - 1 item
- shredded Swiss cheese or mix of Swiss and American - 1 c
How to make quiche:
Cook bacon; drain and chop up. Saute onion in bacon fat; drain. Combine eggs, milk, cream cheese, bacon and seasonings. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 375° for 25 to 35 minutes. If you like, add more cheese, mushrooms, crab meat or vegetables. Makes 1 pie. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Egg, Cheese, Main dish.
