Pumpkin spice cake

Ingredients/Components

• margarine - 1 c
• sugar - 1 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• pumpkin - 2 c
• flour plain
• eggs - 4 item
• salt - 1 tsp
• ginger - 1/2 tsp
• allspice - 1/4 tsp
• raisins - 1/2 c
• nuts, chopped - 1/2 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• cinnamon - 2 tsp

How to make pumpkin spice cake:

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. (Beat after each one.) Blend in pumpkin. Add dry ingredients gradually. Stir in raisins and nuts. Butter and flour a 1 pound empty coffee can and pour in batter. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Remove cake when cool. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar when cool.
