Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- cream or evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- cooked pumpkin or canned pumpkin
How to make pumpkin pie:
Mix sugar, salt and spices; stir in eggs and beat. Add milk, pumpkin and cream or milk. Pour into pie crust shell. Bake in 425° oven for 35 to 40 minutes. When tester comes out nearly clean, pie is done. Cool and top with cream and 1/2 cup toasted coconut. Topping is optional.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
