Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- cinnamon - 1-1/2 tsp
- salt - 1-1/2 tsp
- flour - 5-1/4 c
- nutmeg - 1-1/2 tsp
- cold water - 1 c
- oil - 1-1/2 c
- soda - 3 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- nuts - 1 c
- pumpkin or 1 lg - 3 c
How to make pumpkin loaf:
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl, and add remainder of ingredients. Mix well. Bake in 1 lb. greased coffee cans. Will fill approximately 6 cans. Fill each can 1/2 full, and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Delicious served with whipped cream, or a hot sauce. Freezes well.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Breads.
