Ingredients/Components
- pumpkin - 2 c
- brown and white sugar, mixed - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- flour
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
How to make pumpkin fritters:
Cream sugar, eggs, flour, salt and spices together well. Add pumpkin and vanilla. Mix well. Add baking powder. Fry in hot oleo until brown. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving. If pumpkin is wet, 2 cups of flour may be needed.Recipe categories: Desserts, Vegetables, South african.
