Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2/3 c
- brown sugar - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 6 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1 item
- beaten egg whites - 1 item
- baked pie shell - 1 item
- cooked pumpkin - 3 c
- butter like a walnut - 1 item
How to make pumpkin custard:
Mix first 10 ingredients and cook until thick. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes and 400° for 30 minutes. To use as pudding, omit pie shell.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low sodium, Low fat.
