Ingredients/Components
- Butter - 1/3 c
- Sugar - 1/3 c
- Egg - 1 item
- All-Purpose Flour
- pkg - 2 oz
- Cooked Pumpkin - 2 c
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Ginger - 1/4 tsp
- Nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- Eggs - 2 item
- Dash Salt - 1 item
How to make pumpkin cheesecake:
Cream butter and 1/3 cup sugar until light and fluffy; blend in 1 egg. Add flour, mixing well. Spread dough on bottom and 2 inches on sides of 9-inch spring form pan. (I use a pie pan.) Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Lower oven temperature to 350 degrees.Combine cream cheese and 3/4 c. sugar; beat at medium speed of electric mixer until smooth. Blend in pumpkin, spices, and salt. Add eggs, one at a time. Pour into baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool. May garnish with whipped cream.
