Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • oil - 4 Tbsp
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 4 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 2 c
  • hot water - 2 c

How to make pudding cake:

Combine dry ingredients. Add oil, milk and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Stir together 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and hot water. Carefully spoon over batter in pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
