Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- melted margarine - 3 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- fruit blueberry, raspberry or apples - 2 c
- sugar 3/4 c - 1/2 c
- sugar Use 3/4 c - 1/2 c
How to make pudding cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Place fruit in bottom of a 9 x 9 pan. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, margarine, sugar and milk and pour over fruit. Spread to cover. Mix together the 1/2 c. sugar and cornstarch and sprinkle over cake. Pour water over the top. Bake for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
