Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • melted margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • fruit blueberry, raspberry or apples - 2 c
  • sugar 3/4 c - 1/2 c
  • sugar Use 3/4 c - 1/2 c

How to make pudding cake:

Preheat oven to 350°. Place fruit in bottom of a 9 x 9 pan. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, margarine, sugar and milk and pour over fruit. Spread to cover. Mix together the 1/2 c. sugar and cornstarch and sprinkle over cake. Pour water over the top. Bake for 45 minutes.
