- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- cooked prunes - 1 c
- Add flour, salt, cinnamon and soda
How to make prune cake:
Beat sugar, oil and eggs. Add flour, salt, cinnamon and soda. Add alternately with eggs. Add vanilla and buttermilk. Fold in prunes and nuts. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 300°. Put on topping while warm.Topping:1/3 c. melted butter1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. nutsRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
