Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- Wesson oil - 1 c
- whole eggs - 3 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour, sifted - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cooked prunes, chopped - 1 c
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes or until done
- white syrup - 1 Tbsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
How to make prune cake:
Mix all together. Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes or until done. Do not overbake.Glaze:1 c. sugar1 Tbsp. white syrup1/2 c. buttermilk1 stick margarine1 tsp. vanilla Let come to a boil. Pour over cake while hot. This cake freezes well.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
