Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • melted margarine - 3/4 c
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • frozen strawberries - 2 (10
  • strawberry Jell-O - 1 (6
  • small Cool Whip - 1 item
  • crushed pretzels - 2 c
  • cream cheese room temperature - 8 oz

How to make pretzel jello:

Preheat oven to 400°. Mix pretzels, 3 tablespoons sugar and margarine and pat into a 13 x 9 cake pan. Bake 7 to 8 minutes until toasted. Set aside to cool.

Beat together cream cheese, Cool Whip and 1/2 cup sugar. Spread over cooled crust.

Combine boiling water and Jell-O, stirring until dissolved. Add frozen strawberries and stir until thawed. Let stand in refrigerator until partially jelled. Pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set.
