Praline cheesecake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 1 c
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- melted butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- pkg - 3 oz
- dark brown sugar - 3/4 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- finely chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- maple syrup - 1 item
- pecan halves - 1 item
How to make praline cheesecake:
Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla; stir in chopped pecans. Pour over crust. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250°. Continue baking 30 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill. Brush with syrup; top with pecan halves.Recipe categories: Cheesecake, Desserts, Oven.
