Ingredients/Components

  • graham cracker crumbs - 1 c
  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • melted butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • pkg - 3 oz
  • dark brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • finely chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • maple syrup - 1 item
  • pecan halves - 1 item

How to make praline cheesecake:

Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla; stir in chopped pecans. Pour over crust. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250°. Continue baking 30 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill. Brush with syrup; top with pecan halves.
