  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • baking powder - 1/3 tsp
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • butter room temperature - 1 c
  • flour all-purpose - 3 c
  • flavoring - 2 tsp

How to make pound cake:

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs (one at a time). Gradually add dry ingredients and milk. Beat well. Pour into greased and floured pan and bake 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325° or until done.
