Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- butter - 1/2 lb
- flour self-rising - 3 c
- half and half or whipping cream - 1 c
- each lemon and vanilla flavoring or 2 lemon or 2 vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in flour and half and half (alternate). Add flavoring. Cook in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours. Double for two cakes; freeze one for later.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
