Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/4 Tbsp
• flour - 3 c
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• Crisco - 1 c

How to make pound cake:

Cream together Crisco and sugar. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Add to shortening mixture alternating with milk. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Bake in greased and floured tube pan.
