- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- mace - 1/2 tsp
- butter real butter - 1 c
- flour, sifted plain Gold Medal - 3 c
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix and beat. Sift flour, soda and mace together. Add alternately with sour cream. Beat. Add vanilla. Grease and flour pan. Bake at 300° to 325° for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
