Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 6 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• sour cream - 1 c
• soda - 1/4 tsp
• mace - 1/2 tsp
• butter real butter - 1 c
• flour, sifted plain Gold Medal - 3 c

How to make pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix and beat. Sift flour, soda and mace together. Add alternately with sour cream. Beat. Add vanilla. Grease and flour pan. Bake at 300° to 325° for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
