Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 5 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• butter - 1 c
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• plain flour
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• lemon - 1 tsp

How to make pound cake:

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour with baking powder, salt and milk, alternating. Add flavorings. Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 hours.
