- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- whipping cream - 1/2 pt
- cake flour - 3 c
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and whipping cream alternately, then add vanilla. (Secret: Start in cold oven.) Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
