Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 3 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- sticks margarine - 3 item
- flour plain - 3 c
How to make pound cake:
Cream margarine and sugar well. Add half of flour and half of milk alternately, starting with flour and ending with flour. Add eggs, one at a time, beating next half of the flour and milk. Add vanilla. Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Put into cold oven at 325° for 1 hour, then turn to 350° for 1/2 hour. Do not open oven until you take cake out.
