Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- baking powder
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- hot water - 1 Tbsp
- sticks margarine or butter - 2 item
How to make pound cake:
Measure and sift 3 cups cake flour. Add 1 cup at a time. When well mixed, add 5 eggs at a time until well mixed. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 300° to 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
