  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • baking powder
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • hot water - 1 Tbsp
  • sticks margarine or butter - 2 item

How to make pound cake:

Measure and sift 3 cups cake flour. Add 1 cup at a time. When well mixed, add 5 eggs at a time until well mixed. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 300° to 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
