  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • box strawberry Jell-O - 1 item
  • strawberries - 1 c
  • Wesson oil - 1/2 c
  • box white cake mix - 1 item
  • Icing:1/2 stick oleo

How to make fresh strawberry cake:

Icing:1/2 stick oleo1 box powdered sugar1/2 c. strawberries Empty cake mix and strawberry Jell-o into mixing bowl; add oil and eggs. Beat 3 minutes or until well mixed. Add strawberries and beat 1 minute. Bake for 25 minutes in 350° oven. Cool and frost with fresh strawberry icing.

Icing: If frozen berries are used, drain off most of juice. Cream oleo and add 1 cup sugar slowly and then add strawberries and remaining sugar, a little at a time.
