- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 7 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/2 lb
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- butter Crisco - 1 c
How to make pound cake:
Cream together butter, Crisco, sugar and eggs. Add flour, vanilla and lemon flavoring. Mix together milk, salt and baking powder. Add to creamy mixture. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Bake at 250° for 1/2 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
