  • milk - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • potatoes - 2 item
  • flour to make stiff dough - 1 item
  • vegetable soup - 1 item

How to make potato dumplings:

Make vegetable soup. Put in potatoes and cook until potatoes are done. Remove potatoes and mash. Add egg, milk and flour enough to make stiff dough. Drop by spoonfuls into soup and steam for 5 minutes, or until dumplings are done. They will rise to top when done.
