Ingredients/Components

  • cooking oil - 1/4 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • thyme - 1/2 tsp
  • clove finely chopped garlic - 1 item
  • thick pork chops - 6 item
  • medium, fresh, peeled tomatoes, chopped - 4 item

How to make pork chops creole:

Brown pork chops lightly in 2 tablespoons oil in large skillet. Saut?© garlic, green pepper and onion in 2 tablespoons oil in small skillet. Add tomatoes, thyme, salt and pepper. Add pork chops to sauce. Steam, covered, for 30 minutes or until tender.
