Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 1/4 c
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 1/3 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- tomato sauce - 1 c
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- hot pepper sauce - 1 item
- green onions - 4 item
- bay leaves - 3 item
- cooked rice - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- catfish fillets - 4 item
- cloves crushed garlic - 2 item
How to make catfish creole:
Heat oil in a large pan. Add flour and stir until brown. Add some water gradually with stirring. Add all ingredients, except fish and rice. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender. Add fish and simmer additional 10 minutes. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Catfish.
