- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/8 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 3 tsp
- onion, chopped - 2 c
- tomato paste - 2 c
- green pepper, chopped - 2 c
- celery, chopped - 2 c
- red pepper - 2 tsp
- fresh shoulder - 6 lb
How to make pork barbecue:
Cook shoulder until it falls from the bone. When cool, shred meat and set aside. Cook vegetables slowly in the oil until tender. Add sugar, salt, dry mustard, red pepper and tomato paste. Simmer for 30 minutes, then add vinegar.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Pork.
