Porcupine meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- rice - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- can whole tomatoes or stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- milk, water or tomato juice - 1/2 c
- water, tomato juice or soup - 2 c
How to make porcupine meatballs:
Combine meat, green pepper, rice, salt, pepper, onion, parsley, egg and milk in bowl; mix well. Shape into approximately 18 meat balls and place in kettle. Add can of whole tomatoes and water. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Ground beef, Beef.
