Porcupine meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- tomato sauce - 1 can
- celery salt - 1/2 Tbsp
- uncooked regular rice - 1/2 c
How to make porcupine meatballs:
Mix hamburger, rice, 1/2 c. water, the onion, salt, celery salt, garlic powder and pepper. Shape mixture by rounded Tbsp. in 12 balls. Cook meatballs in 10 inch skillet until brown on all sides. Drain.Mix remaining ingredients; pour over meatballs. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 45 minutes. Add water during cooking if necessary.
