Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- pecans
- white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- unsalted popcorn - 2 qt
How to make popcorn balls:
I sometimes use maple syrup, which makes it extra delicious!!Mix popcorn and pecans in a large bowl; set aside. Combine sugar, margarine and white syrup in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Stir constantly and cook to 300° or hard-crack stage. Next add vanilla and quickly stir over popcorn mixture. When cooler, grease hands and shape into balls.
