Ingredients/Components

  • granulated sugar - 1 c
  • all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
  • firmly packed light brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • 1 stick butter, melted - 1/2 c
  • large plums, pitted and quartered - 5 item

How to make plum cobbler:

Sprinkle brown sugar over bottom of 10-inch pie plate. Arrange plums over sugar in baking dish. Stir together flour, granulated sugar and cinnamon in medium size bowl. Stir in egg until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over plums. Pour melted butter over top. Place dish on aluminum foil lined baking sheet. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
